Copying Accelerator Macro Suite Documents to Another PC

Accelerator Macro Suite documents are documents created when using the Accelerator Menu (Accelerator Macro Suite) function in Word or WordPerfect.  Because Accelerator Macro Suite documents are stored locally on your hard drive, you may need to copy these documents to another PC when upgrading to a newer version of Accelerator on a different PC.  Instructions will vary depending upon your upgrade scenario, word processor type, and version of Accelerator.  Please review the appropriate instructions below that best fit your upgrade senario.

OA Version 14 to OA 15 (or higher) - Microsoft Word

  1. Install the Accelerator Macro Suite, then merge contact data to Accelerator at least once using the Multiple Letters option.

  2. To copy Accelerator Version 14 Macro Suite documents created using Microsoft Word to another computer that is running Accelerator version 15 or higher, copy the 'officea' folder located on the root drive of the 'old' computer (Typically the C Drive) to your media such as a USB memory stick.  From the media (usb memory stick) copy the 'officea' folder to the root drive of the 'new' computer.  

  3. Using Windows Explorer, navigate to 'C:\Users\{your windows user account folder}\AppData\Roaming\Baseline Data Systems\Office Accelerator'. Delete the 'WORD6' folder from this location, your Macro Suite Documents will appear the next time you use the Accelerator menu. 

    The 'AppData' folder is a hidden system folder in Windows. To view hidden folders and files in Windows, see Show Hidden Files.

OA Version 14 to OA 15 (or higher) - Corel WordPerfect

  1. Install the Accelerator Macro Suite, then merge contact data to Accelerator at least once using the Multiple Letters option.

  2. To copy Accelerator Version 14 Macro Suite documents created using Corel WordPerfect to another computer that is running Accelerator version 15 or higher, copy the 'officea' folder located on the root drive of the 'old' computer (Typically the C Drive) to your media such as a USB memory stick.  From the media (usb memory stick) copy the 'officea' folder to the root drive of the 'new' computer.

  3. Using Windows Explorer, navigate to 'C:\Users\{your windows user account folder}\AppData\Roaming\Baseline Data Systems\Office Accelerator'. Delete the 'WP60' folder from this location, your Macro Suite Documents will appear the next time you use the Accelerator menu.

OA Version 15 (or higher) to OA 15 (or higher) - Microsoft Word

  1. To copy Accelerator Version 15 (or higher) Macro Suite documents created using Microsoft Word to another computer that is running Accelerator version 15 (or higher); using Windows Explorer navigate to 'C:\Users\{your windows user account folder}\AppData\Roaming\Baseline Data Systems\Office Accelerator' on the 'old' computer and copy the 'WORD6' folder to your media such as a USB memory stick.

  2. Using Windows Explorer, navigate to 'C:\Users\{your windows user account folder}\AppData\Roaming\Baseline Data Systems\Office Accelerator'.  If a WORD6 folder already exists within this directory, you may delete, rename or move this folder another location.   Copy the 'WORD6' folder from your media to this directory, your Macro Suite Documents will appear the next time you use the Accelerator menu.

  1. To copy Accelerator Version 15 (or higher) Macro Suite documents created using Corel WordPerfect to another computer that is running Accelerator version 15 (or higher), using Windows Explorer navigate to 'C:\Users\{your windows user account folder}\AppData\Roaming\Baseline Data Systems\Office Accelerator' on the 'old' computer and copy the 'WP60' folder to your media such as a USB memory stick.

  2. Using Windows Explorer, navigate to 'C:\Users\{your windows user account folder}\AppData\Roaming\Baseline Data Systems\Office Accelerator'.  If a WP60 folder already exists within this directory, you may delete, rename or move this folder another location.   Copy the 'WP60' folder from your media to this directory, your Macro Suite Documents will appear the next time you use the Accelerator menu.
