Certificate Missing Error

Error Message

After installing OA, when you login, you get the error:

To see if this applies to you

Open Internet Explorer and go to the OA order form here: https://order.oamobile.com If the page won't load, indicating a certificate error, then use the instructions below to download and install the missing root certificate.

Download the Root Certificate

  1. Go to https://certs.godaddy.com/repository in Internet Explorer.

  2. Click on 'GoDaddy Certificate Chain'.

  3. Click the gdroot-g2.crt link under the 'GoDaddy Class 2 Certification Authority Root Certificate - G2' heading.

  4. Click the 'Save As' button.

  5. Choose a location on your computer where you can easily find the certificate to install it.

Install the Root Certificate

Windows 7:

Administrators is the minimum group membership required to complete this procedure.

  1. Click Start, click Start Search, type mmc, and then press ENTER.

  2. On the File menu, click Add/Remove Snap-in.

  3. Under Available snap-ins, click Certificates,and then click Add.

  4. Under This snap-in will always manage certificates for, click Computer account, and then click Next.

  5. Click Local computer, and click Finish.

  6. If you have no more snap-ins to add to the console, click OK.

  7. In the console tree, double-click Certificates.

  8. Right-click the Trusted Root Certification Authorities store.

  9. Click Import to import the certificates and follow the steps in the Certificate Import Wizard.
