Display 'In Use' Status

In Use Status is used within an Office Accelerator multi-user environment to determine if a contact is in use by other users. This information can help determine if a contact should or should not be deleted.  To display In-Use Status for a contact, follow the directions below.

Contact deletion requires specific user rights.  See User Application Rights  for more information.  Specifically, the right is located within the |User Application Rights (administrator)| utility under the |Phone Book| tab within the |Contact Deletion| section.
  1. Search for a contact by entering a search value such as a portion of the contact's first and last name, then click the |Search| button. Make sure the contact is selected within the current search result. Search for a Contact
  2. From the |Contact| menu, select |Display the In-Use Status|, Office Accelerator will return the In Use Status of the contact.  You can also |right click| on a contact and select |Display the In-Use Status| from the menu selection. In-Use Status
